What are the monthly fees and taxes?
The current Homeowner Association fees are approximately $150 per month, which includes maintenance of the Edenglen community recreational amenities, parkways, parks, streets, and alleys. Once everyone has moved into Edenglen, you can expect your dues to be lowered to approximately $130 per month. The base tax rate at GreenDoor is 1.06% + CFD/Special Assessments of $1,369/year. Brookfield Homes elected to buy down these assessments for their buyers, resulting in approximately a 50% lower assessment rate than nearby new home neighborhoods. This special assessment is levied by the City of Ontario to cover general services such as police, fire, and landscape maintenance.
What are the community recreational amenities?
Edenglen offers a resort style community clubhouse with space for entertaining, arcade game room, televisions, outdoor barbeque gas grills, swimming pool with children’s splash pool, pool house pavilion, playgrounds, two half-size basketball courts, numerous rose gardens, dog parks and pocket parks. Pinheiro Park is the perfect setting for resident favorites like monthly wine events, summer concerts and outdoor movies. Additionally, there are hiking and bike trails throughout the greater community.
How many homes will be built within the community?
At completion, there will be a total of 88 homes built at GreenDoor.
What are the sales office hours, and where can I view the model homes?
The GreenDoor Sales Gallery is open Friday through Monday from 10am-6pm during the summer and from 10am – 5pm during the winter; and on Tuesday through Thursday by appointment only. During the holidays, the sales gallery hours may change, so please visit the Brookfield Life BLOG for any updates.
